Software Developer

Do you want to help us improve the quality for some of the worlds most advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) systems? We are now looking for a skilled software developer with a passion for automated testing to strengthen our section, Enabling Software.

Your role

You will join a proficient test development team and will be working with the latest technologies within the area Electronic Warfare. You will be located in Järfälla and travelling can be necessary occasionally.

As developer for Enabling software, we believe you will help us to further improve the quality of our products by utilizing your Software competence within the test domain, as well as our organization with the following responsibilities:

* Actively support and contribute to an innovative climate with your skills for our product test development and our ongoing projects
* Promote and contribute to innovation
* Develop and maintain rig and test software

Your profile

Required skills:

* Have a Master's degree in a relevant discipline or the equivalent working experience.
* Have experience in software engineering
* Have good skills in one or all of the following programming languages: Java, C++, Python or LabView
* Interest for both software and hardware
* Are fluent in Swedish and English
* Likes to work in an international business environment
* Proactive and reliable team player with good communications skill

Desired skills:

* Three plus years of experience from the test domain
* Experience within the RF domain
* Experience from working with RF measurement tools
* Have knowledge within DevOps tools, such as Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Git
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and professionals from different disciplines in an environment that fosters career development and personal growth. You will join the Enabling Software section that consists of highly skilled software engineer's, primarily working with automated testcase development for our Electronic Warfare products. The development occurs in teams, performed in a modern agile fashion with distributed responsibilities and high efficiency. Our toolchain ties planning, issue tracking, source control and build system together in a tight loop. We move towards a DevOps organization and our co-operative working culture, the EW Spirit, is the foundation to our success and contribution to Saab. Enabling Software is part of part the Business Area Surveillance.
