Java Developer, Siemens Financial Services
We are looking for Java Developer to join our newly created Digital Lab based in Umeå.
Our division Siemens Financial Services is a global financing company within the Siemens Group. We create modern, flexible and customized financing solutions for our partners and customers that contribute to their growth and efficiency. In the Nordics we are about 170 employees and operate from our offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Helsinki, Oslo and Umeå.
The challenge
You will be part of the team responsible for further development of the Commercial Finance application SieSmart according to the business requirements and the defined IT requirements (e.g. costs, operation & maintenance, IT security, IT strategy). A special focus will be on the necessary accelerated digitalization of business processes with the help of innovative technologies.
* Development of high-quality software components in an agile team covering the whole software lifecycle
* Analyzing requirements of the business processes of the Siemens leasing Business. Translation of requirements into suitable IT solutions that will be seamlessly integrated into the existing solution
* Execute on digital innovation projects based on own technical skills and under usage of market understanding - leveraging the overall market understanding of Siemens Financial Services
* Assurance of the quality and sustainability of the developed solutions
* Drive ongoing process of development, test and infrastructure automation, esp. cloud infrastructure information with e.g. Ansible
Who are you?
* At least 2 years of professional experience in the implementation of complex customer-specific IT solutions for the leasing business
* Update-to-date in-depth of popular Java and frontend frameworks
* Design and development of Java enterprise-based frontend end backend applications in the financing industry
*Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure automation
*Excellent communication skills in English
