Axis R&D site in Linköping is growing and we are looking for more colleagues to join! The Linköping office was established as Axis new development site in 2018 and focus on software in general and cloud in particular. We develop overarching comprehensive solutions and systems for managing and analyzing video – the brain of our intelligent security solution.

Our office, situated in Vallastaden in Linköping, offers a great work environment that encourage and enable close teamwork (and a lot of fun!). Working with the latest techniques and ways of working, constantly paying attention to customers need, provides us with the prerequisites needed to create outstanding products for a smarter and safer world.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will be part of a small team that to a large extent determine their own daily work. This places great demands on you as a member of the team. You need to be able to work closely with others, be passionate about learning new things, teach others what you know, be accepting of continuous change, and be able to both take and give constructive feedback.

At Axis in Linköping, we work according to the methods and principles established in software development in recent years, such as Lean, DevOps and agile variants. This involves a constant search – particularly for learning and ways to improve work methods

In order to ensure that we always maintain high quality, we build quality into the system as early as possible in the development process. Any defects must be found quickly, as much as possible by means of automated tests, so that they can be corrected as close to the source as possible.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for committed developers that pay attention to customer's need and take pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience. You have strong collaborative skills and like working in close cooperation with your colleagues.

You have experience in working as a fullstack developer and thorough knowledge in Javascript/Typescript, as well as in CSS and HTML5 and relevant backend technologies. You are accustomed in working with build systems, deployment and test automation.

Understanding of cloud solutions and micro services, foremost Amazon AWS is valued. Some of the client techniques that we use are Angular, React, SASS och Typescript, and some backend techniques are Node, Typescript, Go, databases and AWS services. You strive to always develop new skills and stay up to date with the latest technique and ways of working.
