Job description
Our Gothenburg office is growing, and we have an opening for a self-starter who is eager to develop and maintain software modules for our core application. Configura is full of new ideas and innovation; programming therefore has a significant role throughout the company. We work in teams where we seek individuals who take personal responsibility to achieve good team spirit, quality and deliver on time.

As an R&D developer, you will be working in close collaboration with teams from all our offices in Europe, Asia and USA. You will contribute towards improvements in user experience by efficiently develop both code and process. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing state-of-the-art techniques and developing software. Thanks to our unique CET Developer Platform, overhead time is kept to a minimum. You will recieve immediate feedback on your changes and you will spend less time on waiting on compiling and more on fun.

Your profile
In order to fit into the role, we believe that you have the following:
• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience
• Strong skills in languages such as Java, C# and C++.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly gather requirements, explore multiple approaches and suggest solutions
• Experience in agile development processes and experience with structuring code for larger projects are beneficial but not required

To be successful as an R&D developer at Configura we believe that you are a self-starter with a genuine passion for programming with a good grasp of object-oriented concepts and experience in using them to build applications. You should also be a communicative and mature person who is driven to deliver with quality. You write robust, secure and maintainable code in a variety of languages. While you collaborate well, you also work independently, using creativity and innovation to think beyond the problem domains given.
