IT Service Administrator

As an IT Service Administrator, you see the big picture but also like to roll-up your sleeves and dive into the details and fix things yourself. You understand technical architecture, application architecture, networks, cloud services etc. You want to get things done, either by yourself or by using external resources effectively and acting as a coordinator or project manager, depending what is optimal in the situation.

You will actively establish and maintain contacts with local and international service- and technology providers and always look for new opportunities to improve and do things better, keeping in mind both the immediate needs and the anticipated needs of the future. You are not burdened by the old way of doing things. Depending on the location, you may also have some end-user support responsibilities.

We are looking for someone with the following characteristics:
-Outgoing person with a service mindset
-Analytical with great problem solving skills
-Proactive, curious and self-going
-Not satisfied with the current status, always eager to learn more
-A team player and a good communicator

We hope you have most of the following experience:
-3 years in end-user support in service desk and/or in on-site-support, dealing with issues in network, hardware, operating systems and applications
-3 years in server administration and 2nd Tier support
-3 years in administration of Microsoft AD, different Windows server versions and Exchange
-3 years in server virtualization (VMware or another platform)
-3 years in managing networks; routers, firewalls, switches and wireless access points
-1 year in using and configuring system management tools, like Microsoft SCCM
-1 year as a project manager in small or medium sized projects
-Experience in topics like Google Apps for Business, Google App Engine, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and scripting or writing small utility applications are a strong advantage

As English is our corporate language, fluent English is required. Additional language skills are an advantage.
