System Administrator

Flightradar24 is looking for a talented and driven System Administrator who is well versed in SysOps and automation to drive capacity scaling for sustained growth. You'll be working closely with fast-paced development teams to improve the experience of millions of Flightradar24 users around the world.What you’ll doDrive integration of highly available and scalable systems while planning for continuous capacity growthSupport developers creating infrastructure-as-code with a test-driven environment and regular production releases as standardExecute technical implementation and cost management of both in-house data center infrastructure as well as cloud servicesDiagnose and optimize the performance of physical and cloud infrastructure including networking, SAN storage, and regional sitesContinuously evaluate which systems are best suited in data center versus cloud services Interact closely with developers to consistently achieve quality results on a live and fast-growing environmentResearch and evaluate relevant new technologies as they become availableJoin and support the rotation of on-call staff to ensure rapid responses to critical live issues 24 / 7Who you areMinimum 2 years of professional experience in system administration and operationsStrong Linux skills, including shell scriptingProven experience with planning constantly growing environments of large-scale systems, including migration to a micro-services architectureKeen to work closely with our existing tech stack (including Ansible, Datadog, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, MySQL, NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis, Syslog, vSphere)A self-starter who naturally assumes responsibility for driving projects forwardActively support quality assurance teams to deliver continuous integration and automated deployment using Jenkins or similarCloud computing experience including AWS EC2, RDS, S3, DynamoDB or similar in GCS or AzureExperience with deploying and tuning open source technologies to deliver services including configuration management, monitoring, websites, queuing, caching and centralized loggingAbout Flightradar24With over 2 million daily users, Flightradar24 is the world’s most popular flight tracking service.
