About the job You will be part of the Enterprise Continuous Delivery team which is responsible for driving the Continuous Delivery initiative across the bank. The team consists of experts with overlapping knowledge within Continuous Delivery.
Your work will be focused on building and maintaining Swedbank's next generation Continuous Delivery pipelines to provide "CD as a Service" for enterprise usage. You will also support teams in implementing their version of the pipeline and be able to influence how the "CD as a service" evolves.
The next generation Continuous Delivery pipelines are built using a Container platform as a base (OpenShift). Other tools that you will use to build up the "CD as a Service" are CloudBees Core/Jenkins, JIRA, Bitbucket including pull requests, SonarQube, Artifactory and many more.
What you need to succeed You have several years of experienced from creating state of art CD pipelines from code commit to production deploy using the de-facto standard CI/CD tools available.
You are hands on and updated regarding common software development, build and script languages such as Java, Groovy, Maven, Gradle, Bash etc.
You have deep understanding and experience in designing and writing Jenkins Shared Libraries in Groovy.
Experience from practicing "Configuration as Code" preferable using Ansible
You have knowledge in the area of PaaS (Platform as a Service) preferable experience from OpenShift.
You have experience with Container technology and Container Orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
You have good communication skills, are a good team player, self-driven and used to take own initiatives
What you may have worked with previously A Senior DevOps Engineer is a person with extensive experience in software development. You have probably worked as a full stack developer with all parts of development, including continuous delivery. Since you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the banks "CD as a Service" is it important that you can keep a holistic view and make sure we do the right things for Swedbank as a company.
