You will be part of a high preforming agile team, working together with committed colleagues. Our team has deep knowledge within the area of automation and machine control, such as localization, navigation, path planning, driver assistant functions as well as tele-remote solutions.
We work together in agile teams with modern C ++ development and automated testing in Python. We continuously aim to improve team performance in order to increase our efficiency, by challenging ourselves and our processes.
Automation is on the very top of the Epiroc agenda, and as a member of our team you will have close cooperation with our colleagues within the organization in Örebro. Epiroc is committed to our customers and it is essential to gain understanding regarding their needs and requirements. Hence, we are working together with our colleagues from Epiroc regional application centers located in vicinity to our customers in Australia, Canada, Chile, South Africa and USA. Your mission
As a C++ software developer you will take part in our embedded development focusing on develop first class software functions for our autonomous loader and trucks. You will be part of an agile software team following Scrum or Kanban.
Your profile
You hold a Bachelor or Master of Science in Software Engineering or have similar experience. To succeed in this position you have experience in C++, are curious and interested in software development for machine control of manual operated and autonomous products. You are passionate about creating high quality solutions and have an interest in big yellow machines.
We see it as meritorious if you have experience from machine control, development of algorithms for autonomous drive, machine learning, etc.
We develop our automated tests in Python with Phytest and prior knowledge in that area it is meritorious. Experience of Linux, Jira, Git and/or Bitbucket is also meritorious.
