Traditionally the appliance industry has been all about Hardware. Today, in the eye of IoT, voice assistants and autonomous systems, Software is increasingly entering the center stage to be married with hardware for a winning product. As such, Electrolux is looking for an IoT System Tester to strengthen our development team.
We are aiming to deliver awesome user experiences through apps and cloud backend solutions to our software products and connected consumer appliances. We work side-by-side with product management and UX design team and foster a Build-Measure-Learn environment where everyone plays an active part in the product development for the next generation of product experiences.
Our products consist of interactions between appliances, apps, API’s and third party integration. A complex and fast growing network of components needs an ever evolving approach to quality assurance and the way we design our system for testability. Joining the team, YOU will be our main driver for all things test, both internally in the team and in the interfaces towards our stakeholders and partners.
This is a full-time position based in our Global Headquarters office in Stockholm where we are 60+ nationalities under the same roof. And Electrolux is committed to attract, keep and enable a diverse team to own and deliver in all defined areas.
Your everyday challenge
Analyzing new needs together with product managers, UX and system designers
Producing test strategies, test plans and test cases
Performing manual tests, exploratory tests, load tests, etc.
Automating test and maintaining automated test suites
Taking active part in team’s improvement work

What we expect
3+ years of experience in testing IT systems, apps or products
2+ years of experience in testing IoT systems, including apps
Knowledge of tools for app, API and system tests (Appium, MS Test, Postman, Azure DevOps)
Programming skills to write and maintain automated test suits (mainly C#)
Previously worked with full-stack product centered teams
