UX Designer - SAS (Scandinavian Airlines)

We’re looking for another UX designer to join our team at SAS Digital Experience.

Our enthusiastic digital designers help make the travel experience exceptionally smooth for SAS’ travelers, putting them in control and making their lives easier every step of the way with our world-class digital solutions.

This means we need a designer that has an intuitive understanding of user needs, e-commerce experience and a portfolio that shines – and naturally someone who loves design as much as we do.

As UX designer, you’ll work on one of our agile streams to:

Lead discovery meetings together with our Digital Product Owners with internal and external stakeholders to fully understand business requirements.
Use analytics to make informed data-driven recommendations for new features and design user interfaces accordingly.
Work with cross-functional teams to set requirements.
Research features and technologies to support usability recommendations.
Create responsive wireframes, interactive prototypes and flows to communicate and test solutions.
Maintain project documentation including personas, user stories and flows.
Make presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
Work with UI designers to translate wireframes into graphic designs.
Collaborate with development teams to clarify specifications.
Validate designs through usability testing and make suggestions for improvement.

Your background – the ideal UX designer has:

Degree in design plus at least 1 year of experience as an UX designer.
Good knowledge of wireframing programs and rapid prototyping tools.
Sharp attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize work and meet commitments.
Excellent communication skills – able to relate to stakeholder groups including clients, developers and executive management.
Portfolio including samples of work outlining business needs and proposed solutions.

About our Office
Frösundavik is a great place to work. There is a gym, restaurant, café and a variety of services to make your life easier. It’s located in a green area of Solna and close to Hagaparken and Brunnsviken. There’s a non-stop bus connection from the Central Station to Frösunda and commuter trains to/from Solna Station. Of course, cycling is another option and many of us enjoy the scenic route to the office every day.
