Yepstr is now looking for a talented front-end web developer who is ready to be a driving force in our product development team. You will join as one of yepstr’s first team members and will be a part of laying the foundation that the business will be built on. Total ownership and responsibility from day one.

So – what would be my role?

As front-end developer for yepstr you will be a part of a multidisciplinary team where we rely on you to create appealing, responsive and easy to use UIs for both mobile and web based formats.

Your role will be critical from day one and will continuously grow along with the company. As we currently only have a simple prototype you will be in a unique position to be in the game from start. This means having a large say when it comes to platform and architectural choices.

The deal

In addition to being part of the ride of your life, selected candidates will receive an offer including both salary and an employee stock option program.

However make no mistake –we will most likely slash your current salary in half and ask you to leave that fancy office to join us in the rusty shoebox we call home / the office.

Skills & Requirements

We believe you are a dependable developer who enjoys a high tempo, working with a team and learning from other exceptionally driven people. You enjoy variation and experimentation and you are not afraid of trying new things and learning from mistakes. When you’re passionate about something you often end up pouring yourself into the task but you’re also able to relax and kick back to celebrate a job well done.

You’re someone who can think with both halves of the brain and build creative solutions with technology and logic. You are used to different webtechnologies, feel rock-solid with CSS, HTML and javaScript, have developed apps for iOS/Android and played around with tools like React, angular, Jenkins, Grunt/Gulp etc.

We consider it a great advantage if you also happen to have some experience in writing scalable and secure solutions, if you are used to working in agile and test-driven teams or have a knack for graphic design.
