We are looking for you who is an experienced computer engineer who enjoys complex problem solving combined with real hands-on installations. You will be a part of an agile development team.

Your work duties
As part of the development team, according to your qualification and interests, you will be the responsible for network architecture and configuration, computational resource management and application scheduling or our inter-process communication system.

This is a position in a dynamic and fast-moving high-tech environment, with a lot of opportunities to influence the future. The department Autonomous Systems is responsible for piloting, testing and developing future Autonomous Transport Solutions (ATS). This work is done in agile and self-steered teams with the ambition to evaluate upcoming technologies and develop these for serial production.

The group Onboard Computational Platform designs, develops and maintains the in-vehicle software platform for Scania’s autonomous trucks and buses to provide our internal customers with the best possible preconditions to develop software for our high performance - safety critical systems.

Your profile

• Academic engineering degree (B.Sc., M.Sc. and/or PhD), + 5 years’ relevant work experience
• You consider yourself being an expert in at least one of these areas: networking, UNIX operating systems, development of safety critical software
• You are familiar with C++ programming, GPGPU programming skills are meriting

As a developer you like to squeeze the last of performance out of a computer system and you thrive for quality in your deliveries. You are self-going in your work tasks, understand the importance of team deliveries and have good strategic thinking.

As a person you love complex problem solving and are looking for a challenging work with daily feedback in the products you work with.
