Under the direction of the Computer Management Specialist, act as network Systems Administrator for the OpenNet. Day-to-day operations of the Windows 7 and 2003/2008 local area network provide equipment maintenance, help desk assistance and user application support. This includes supporting applications such as Microsoft SharePoint, Exchange, SQL, IIS, Office, Symantec Anti-Virus, and Department of State developed applications. Self-responsibility is required from both routine and critical network administration tasks. Provides equipment maintenance, help desk assistance and user application support.

Education: University degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. Prior Work Experience: Three to four years of professional IT work experience with at least 1 year of Microsoft SharePoint Administration experience. Post Entry Training: State Department IT training (online and classroom), Consular System training, DS/Information Assurance training, and on the job training. Language proficiency: Fluent Speaking/Reading/Writing English. Fluent Speaking/Reading/Writing Swedish. Job Knowledge: Must understand, follow and implement Post and Department IT Systems (hardware and software), regulations and processes. Understand and participate in post´s IT funding process. Skills and Abilities: Maintain current IT Skills and certifications keeping up with Department and industry standards. Implement policies and processes ensuring the Confidentially, Integrity and Availability of post´s unclassified (OpenNet) network.
