Nasdaq Technology is looking for a Software Developer to join the TRADExpress RealTime Clearing team. RealTime Clearing helps clearinghouses meet the ever-increasing demands of the post-trade value chain with integrated position keeping, real-time risk and collateral management, as well as settlement, across markets. As a Senior Software Developer, you will contribute to design and build high quality software as well as guiding/leading others to deliver production ready solutions according to agreed specifications. You will join a highly qualified cross-functional scrum team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Developers, Test Engineers, and Project Managers. Over time, your role may evolve in different directions, either being a specialist on specific areas, taking overall responsibility for solutions as an architect or being team lead/manager. What you will be doing:

* Designing solutions and writing good quality code that solves difficult problems in a highly distributed system with extreme demands on resilience and quality.
* You will be involved in all stages of the product life cycle; design, implementation, testing, release, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance and enhancement.
* Participating in design discussions and decisions.
* Follow the team's progress and contribute to the success of the whole team.
* Together with the team, you will participate in forming the team structure and improving our agile methodologies.
* Contribute with your experience and input to sprint planning, retrospectives and demos.

What you will bring to the team:

* A few years of experience developing backend Java applications
