Summary:

The Candidate would join an existing 6 people and rapidly expanding Managed Services Team, supporting and enhancing customer delivery. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills as well as "hands-on" client issue management, service support, service enhancements and client relations.

Responsibilities

Strategy
- Act as key player for Managed Services on client or internal operational issues
- Identify opportunities to improve the service and delivery model and work with staff, peers, and management to improve and enhance the services
- Support Sales development and incremental sales opportunities as required
- Facilitate and support Outpost24 business objectives

Operations
- Assimilate and transition new clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Provide complete operational support, detailed analysis and remediation guidance
- Manage key clients with a hands-on approach
- Communicate regularly with clients to monitor client satisfaction and ensure reliable delivery
- Mentor junior team members through issues and major processes, such as implementations and upgrades
- Monitor daily operations, support and resolution for regional clients
- Ensure that defined processes are followed accurately
- Identify issues in existing processes
- Report to Management in a clear and accountable manner

Technical
- Unix/Linux/Windows experience.
- In-depth TCP/IP.
- LAN/WAN infrastructures.
- Common OS services.
- Routers/switches.
- Strong knowledge of current firewall, Intrusion Detection System Brands & technologies, and Vulnerability Network Scanners (Nessus, nmap).
- Windows AD authentication.
- Knowledge of Samba/AD integration, DNS, server/client configuration.
- Preferably the candidate would have some knowledge of major web server software (IIS, Apache, Websphere, Tomcat, WebLogic), UNIX/Windows web services, and diverse platforms and applications (Linux, Windows 2003/2008, Windows NT, Novell, Lotus Notes, Mac OS).

People
- Work closely with a team of security analysts and individually
- Participate in the development and on-going refinement, enhancement and continuous process improvement for the services

Requirements
- 1-3+ years of experience in Vulnerability Management
- 1-3+ years of experience in a management/leadership role
- Manage and mentor staff through multiple projects and tasks with changing deadlines
- Strong customer service skills and expectation management
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); good interpersonal skills
- Occasional travel to customer sites for planning and review meetings
- Familiarity with servers and networks is preferred
- Experience with the following is beneficial: server operating systems, servers, networks, vulnerability management software, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity
