We at Toyota have our own function for driverless vehicles and we now offer the opportunity to become part of our team during this summer and help us program the next generation of driverless vehicles.

WHAT DOES A TOYOTA SOFTWARE DEVELOPER DO?
Our development work is conducted in project-based teams and you will work with experienced colleagues. During the summer, your colleagues will share their experiences and give you a clear insight into the software developer's everyday life.

During the summer, you and your code will include:
* Writing HIL tests
* Migrating requirements to a new requirements management system
* Visualizing data from DHU
* Investigating and improving the development environment; tools, routines, etc.
* Analysing Data of specific behaviours
* Improving documentation for LaTeX

We have a newly built test centre of 2000 m2 where you can implement and test your code directly on our products. The development takes place mainly in C and structured text against our own HW platforms. In addition, there is development in matlab/simulink for algorithms and calculation support. Also programming in e.g. python to occur.

PLACEMENT
The employment involves placement at our site in Mjölby. At the site we have all product development from idea to finished product, all production and our European head office. This means that we currently have about 3000 employees on site. We have good commuting opportunities by commuter train and car from most cities in Östergötland, 30 minutes from Linköping and 20 minutes from Motala.

To facilitate the work-life balance we offer group training with instructor and we have a newly refurbished gym where you can have all your training before you go home.

REQUIREMENT
Started college education in software development.
