Codic Consulting are currently hiring a new consultant on behalf of Jeppesen. The Codic team have grown considerably in a very short time and today encompasses more than 20 highly skilled consultants working in the fields of software engineering, application development, testing and data science at high tech organisations in Gothenburg.
Codic takes pride in being a niche agency that relies on competence-based recruitment and in-house IT and industry expertise. Compared to many of their competitors, they want to stay local and not outgrow the familiar atmosphere they have cultivated over the years.
The role
Jeppesen’s Customer Success Implementation (CSI) department is responsible for the configuration and delivery of Crew and Ops management products to airline customers. Jeppesen is now looking for Software Application Developers to join their CSI department. This is an opportunity to be part of a skilled team of implementation specialists who value diversity and solve some of the most challenging optimisation problems in the world. 
All positions will be based in Gothenburg. You need to be able to travel to Jeppesen’s customers from time to time as part of the job - mainly within Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Required skills

• MSc or BSc in Computer Science / Physics Engineering /Industrial Engineering or equivalent Programing experience
• Experienced with Unix / Linux environment
• Ability to speak and write English fluently
• Demonstrates strong communication skills

Good to have

• Python, Shell scripting, SQL, Web development, Java, functional programming
• Interaction design / UX competence (User Experience – Interaction design, Information architecture, User research, Task flows/Scenarios)
• Experience working within a scrum team or in similar agile project setup such as SAFe
• Airline Crew Management and Jeppesen Crew product customization experience
• Ability to speak additional languages fluently - Any other languages in addition to English will be a bonus

Your profile

The ad description is wide by purpose. Jeppesen are looking for people who have a wide skillset and are able to focus on delivering value for customers by implementing their systems. This means working on a project with the aim of configuring Jeppesen’s applications to match the customer’s needs and environment. This means you need to be a very technical and hands on Business Analyst or a very customer focused developer. It is more important that you are independent and a great problem solver, than a fantastic programmer.
