Elastisys provides cloud native solutions and managed services that empowers organizations to run their applications and services in a scalable, resilient way in cloud environments. Using a heavy dose of world renowned cloud research, we work with some of the most exciting companies in the world both on R&D related projects and to help them on their cloud native journey using open-source, cloud and DevOps.
Elastisys are active Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) members, Sweden's first Kubernetes Certified Service Provider and provides the security and compliance focused Compliant Kubernetes distribution both as open source and as a managed service.
We help drive cloud native awareness and adoption through hosting meetups, talking at conferences and writing technical blog posts about the cloud native ecosystem.

Who we are looking for:
Now we are looking for an developer interested in taking a cloud native approach to building scalable systems to join our team in Umeå. You will alternate between working on customer projects from our brand new office in Umeå with occasional travels to customer sites as well as with in-house product development.
Ideally you enjoy a healthy mix of back-end development, Linux and open-source wizardry and have a love for DevOps and automation.

Have a interest in designing and developing next generation cloud infrastructure for highly scalable and available cloud applications
Like keeping up with state of the art technology and the ever growing ecosystem around open-source, cloud native, DevOps, and machine learning tooling
Are hands-on and thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment where you will be a key member of the team

Experience with the following is good to have:
Experience with microservices and containerization using Docker, etc
Experience with automated deployment and configuration management software such as Ansible and Terraform
Experience using public clouds like AWS, GCP or Azure
Experience with Go, Java, or Python
Fluent English in speech and writing

Experience with the following is a bonus:
Experience working with cloud native open-source projects like Kubernetes, Prometheus, Envoy etc
Experience operating container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or PaaS like OpenShift
Security and DevSecOps, including knowledge of OWASP, WAF, vulnerability assessments, intrusion detection, zero trust networking, penetration testing, etc
Contributions to open source projects
