The Core Technologies Media team is working on exciting video technologies for future Axis products and solutions. We are now looking for a skilled embedded software developer.
Description
You will be part of a creative and diverse team with the responsibility of developing our video and audio platform. The responsibility of the team covers from long-term monitoring of new technologies to deliver and taking part of new hardware and software releases to the market.
Among other things you get to work with;
· Investigate and set requirements for future HW platforms.
· Prototype and test new video technologies.
· Design, develop and deliver platforms for future products and solutions.

We are looking for a curious, positive and dedicated software developer with a strong technology interest. We think you enjoy finding innovative solutions on tough challenges even if it is outside your comfort zone.
You are a software developer with experience within embedded or algorithm development in a Linux environment. As video is our primary focus it is beneficial, but not a must, if you have experience with video encoding or video streaming. You have a master's degree in computer science, physics, electrical engineering or similar.
