What you’ll do
Providing competence for the team to succeed and deliver expected outcomes through skills to design, build and operate robust and resilient software and platforms through a T-shaped profile with a specialization in one or more engineering areas.

You will also continuously build knowledge about agile practices used and actively participate in ceremonies & be participating in developing work methods, processes, procedures and other applicable to enable sensible consistency across teams.
Actively participating in experimentation and innovation to bring accelerating value and understanding to myself, the team, the chapter and in communities of practice.
Providing input for the design and construction of test cases and scenarios and help validate executed test results.

You and your skills
We believe this experience is needed;
A BSc in software engineering or equivalent proven on-the-job experience (certifications, courses or similar)
At least 2 years explicit experience within the software engineering field
Expertise in specific software technology areas such as mainframe, Java, .Net or similar technologies. Understanding of modern software engineering practices for DevOps and automation such as continuous integration, testing, delivery and monitoring. Knowledge about specific applications, modules or platforms used within ED

You as a person will be acting as a team player with peers in a distributed environment with a multi-vendor and multi-cultural setting. We think you are curious and open-minded. You are continuously striving to develop skillsets by networking internally and externally.
Understanding, applying and following agile team principles and ceremonies.
Understanding and showing an interest in the user needs and user journey for the product teams’ outcomes.
Willingness to network with stakeholders for technical elicitation.
You have an agile mind-set and understanding with the ability to mentor and coach peers. Documentation and visualization skills with strong ability to communicate complex aspects within area of specialization.
Fluency in English.

Deep understanding of technical aspects within an area of specialization.
Understanding of DevOps and how it applies to the engineering role within area of specializations(s). Knowledge of architectural concepts and designs to be able to realize technical solutions based on this. Understanding of what platform technologies and solution architectures are appropriate for different technical solutions. Understanding of how to build secure solutions in adherence with security frameworks and architecture.

Education
BSc, or equivalent experience in a relevant field
