The team is seeking a skilled Nuage/SDN engineer who has Systems and Network background to deliver professional services to Nokia’s potential new and existing Nuage customers. The candidate in this role will be required to work in an architect/integration manner with Nokia Internal Teams and directly with Customers, Project Managers, Technical Project Managers, Sales Engineers to deliver projects which may include the following responsibilities:
Write Method of Procedures documents for customers and for Internal Use;
Support Presales team for Product & Solution demos and POC delivery;
Plan, prepare and execute a Demo, POC and commercial projects with all requested tests;
Support Customers on-site for Operating their Nuage Based SDN Networks;
Support of design experts in developing design and network architecture on the project of new product introduction;
Participation in test program development, development of method of testing and setting necessary environment according to project requirements;
Implementation of the most complex testing scenarios, which require all gained expert knowledge.
Responsible for investigation and solution of issues with HW and SW on Customer sites.
Interaction with other divisions of SDN experts in Nokia in bounds of functional responsibilities;
Participates as an expert during the tender process to support the building and writing of the proposals
Performs the most complex projects including international projects outside his location;
Contribution to the process of improvement of Nuage/SDN products, providing test results and recommendations to R&D departments.

The candidate must meet all of the requirements below:
Bachelor in Telecom/Data/Computer Networking Engineering or equivalent;
Deep level knowledge in Linux Systems, Cloud Management Software;
Administration experience of Linux systems; Installation of services, Configurations, Securing the services, Scripting etc.;
Hands-on experience on at least one of the Server Virtualization Technologies such as KVM, Xen, Vmware, Hyper-V;
Deep level network knowledge (especially IGP, BGP protocols & protocol characteristics & protocol parameters);
Clearly communicate (verbal and written) in English with presentation skills;
Able to work autonomously and also as a team member;
Able to handle several important tasks at the same time;
Able to look at different factors and prioritize tasks;
Open to organizational and career changes for evolution;
Strong troubleshooting, problem solving skills;
Able to develop and maintain strong relationships in Nokia and with Customers.

In addition to above requirements, the following skills of the candidates will be evaluated as advantage.
Nokia 7750 SR product, Openstack and/or Cloudstack knowledge is a plus;
IP Certification (NRS2, SRA, CCNP, CCIE etc.) and Multi-vendor Interoperability experiences is advantage;
Systems Certification (Vmware, Redhat ) is advantage;
Knowledge in Nokia IP Networks products (7x50 Routers, 5620 SAM etc) is plus;
Experience with Network Automation Scripting is plus;
Python Scripting, Web Development knowledge is plus;
Datacenter Firewall Applications knowledge is plus.

 
Travel Requirements: This position requires traveling abroad. 
The candidate should be able to travel overseas for POC, Trial and Project work in short notice.

Required competencies and experience
Minimum 3-5 years in similar role.
