Test Engineer

About the Role

We are searching for a skilled Test Engineer to join our new QA Team and help us build the future of responsible banking. Devoted to ensuring quality, the team works with acceptance tests for upgrades, helping us verify our own platforms as well as third-party ones. Our testing team collaborates closely with both our business and IT development departments, ensuring that business requirements are translated into tests.

Your Mission

To thrive and succeed in this role, you ideally have previous experience working with test planning and execution, with a focus on manual testing and testing tools. Ideally, you have also worked in the financial field before and have worked closely with business and development teams; you know how to interpret business requirements and write and conduct QA tests. As a Test Engineer, you will help us manage and cover UAT and support our development teams in breaking UAT down into scenarios that can be automated, thus ensuring the quality of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Performing regression and integration tests in coordination with our development, infrastructure, and business teams
- Producing test cases when new functionalities are added
- Responsible for running and maintaining business acceptance tests for all of our prioritized user interfaces and integrations
- Testing and verifying prioritized 3rd party solutions
- Supporting our development teams with test cases, test environments, and test data

Requirements:

- Previous experience in manual and QA testing
- Familiarity with the Microsoft development environment - in particular, C# and .net/.net-core
- Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, Postman, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience with planning tests and writing test plans
- Experience in supporting test automation
- Familiarity with ALM systems like JIRA, HP ALM, TFS/Azure DevOps, etc

Good to have:

- Previous experience working in the finance field
- Experience with signing of functional and non-functional requirements and securing that they are testable
- Familiarity with BDD
- ISTQB
