Sourcing is looking for a clear, visible and courageous person to lead sourcing and supplier management activities for the Stora Enso Group Information Technology and Services (IT/IS). The goal is to achieve best cost sourcing, measurable year-over-year improvements in the total cost of services sourced while maintaining or improving quality of service and securing development of function towards best practice. You will works closely with key stakeholders in Group Functions Business Information Services (BIS) and divisions to develop effective sourcing strategies and procurement plans. This position will be responsible for sourcing spend in the range of about 80-100 MEUR. You will report directly to VP Sourcing Group Functions and Professional Services.
The primary responsibility of this position is to secure the best possible total cost of ownership (TCO) for IT/IS given the decided scope and quality. The Category Leader has a set of specific responsibilities including develop and execute category strategies with focus on delivering lower cost for needed quality and service. You will also establish needed Category Teams and attract and engage talent resources. Further you will build and execute yearly procurement plans for category that makes best use of available purchasing resources as well as track and report Sourcing Performance in Category and proactively propose and execute corrective actions to reach set targets. You will actively participate in execution of Procurement plans and thus run RfP/tenders, negotiate and contract. You are responsible to develop and adjust the supplier base in the category, select and prequalify suppliers in category and especially from Supplier Code of Conduct. You will run supplier development for contracted suppliers with focus to make best use of existing agreements and drive continuous improvement. The position also includes being Supplier Account Manager (SAM) for assigned suppliers.
Qualifications
Qualifications - competencies and experience:
Successful, 5+ year track record in a best practice sourcing organization with a passion for reducing cost.
Relevant engineering or business master’s degree required; other graduate degree potentially acceptable.
Previous experience with/insights in Category Management for IT/IS is a clear advantage.
Strong and proven leadership skills and change management skills.
Strategic ability to develop high impact sourcing strategies.
Solid analytical skills. Able to define and understand the most critical issues.
Strong negotiating and convincing skills.
Excellent communication skills and excellent in written and spoken English. Preferably fluent in an additional language; Swedish, Finnish or German.
Process and applications skills: SAP MM or similar, MS Office, Outlook
The position requires travelling.
