Junior Java Developer

For our Telecom client we require a Java developer with a minimum of two years of relevant development experience.

Key skills:
Proficient in the use of current tools such as IntelliJ, Maven, SonarQube, TeamCity/Jenkins, Jira, Confluence etc.
A good understanding of OO design principles (e.g. SOLID)
Used to navigate large Java code bases
Excellent knowledge of git as a SCM-tool as well as different branching strategies
Experience of working with client/server message based systems
Experience working with the Spring/SpringBoot
Experience performing code reviews
Excellent knowledge of Java standard libraries
Understanding of algorithmic complexity and ability to make basic analysis and comparing algorithms
Have a basic understanding of the impacts of garbage collection

Bonus skills:
Experience with at least one of AWS, GCP, Azure
Experience with container technology
Experience with C/C++
Experience in fintech standards and protocol (e.g. FIX) and applicable regulatory standards
Experience in high performance, low latency transaction system
