We are now looking for more System Tools/DevOps Engineer to join our Software Development and System Test Team in Gothenburg!

Our Software Development and System Test team is responsible for the software in the end-product (mobile phone, smart card, door locks etc.) as well as for the production test tools, product development tools and demo tools needed. We create windows applications and platform independent tools for different target platforms. We develop device drivers and integrate our biometric solutions into various embedded systems. Our team is responsible for the full life cycle of this SW, from requirements and design, to implementation, test, maintenance and customer support. We also manage the SW infrastructure needed to fulfill our mission.

What you will do

As a System Tools-DevOps Engineer, you will ensure that our software development infrastructure and build environments are up to date, running smoothly and configured optimally. You will manage the entire lifecycle of the server infrastructure for the software department and will be a key member in the continued improvement of our software release management.

At Fingerprints you will be part of a team responsible for all aspects of our software, software that is used by millions every day. As a member of the System Tools and Software Integration team you will have the opportunity to directly impact our software, influence the direction of the server infrastructure and help keep our builds green. You are expected to use your drive and commitment to implement your ideas together with your colleagues.

Who you are

• You are a true team player with a positive problem-solving attitude
• You are curious and open to learn new things and driven by a deep technical interest
• You bring your ideas and willingly share your knowledge with others
• You are structured and excellent at writing necessary documentations
• You can drive assignments independently
• You have worked with, managed, deployed, configured and updated applications such as JFrog Artifactory, Jenkins and Gerrit
• You have excellent skills in software configuration management tools such as Puppet and Ansible
• You have experience using, building, managing and deploying Docker images and containers
• You can code with Python and Bash
• You have experience from working with Linux (Ubuntu) based servers on VMWare
• You are familiar with agile principles and know how to make use of Git for version control and Jenkins in your daily work
• You are experienced in debugging issues
• You have a Master university degree within relevant area or equivalent work experience
