The Powertrain Control Systems Development department and the Electrical and Hybrid Technology department are responsible for the components, functions, features and the testing in the area of electrified trucks and buses.

 

We are looking for a software developer that will join our team of Battery Management development, being a part of the team enabling the transition into electrification of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the software for the battery management system for Scania and Traton brands
• Produce necessary documentation especially in regards of functional safety
• Execute engineering tasks defined within projects in order to meet schedule, budget and specifications

 

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, software engineering or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level
• Knowledge of C/C++, Matlab/Simulink and RTOS (real time operating system)
• Experience in Embedded software development for vehicle / powertrain applications
• Analytical skills, especially in the field of functional safety and safety critical systems
• Experience in an Agile development environment and experience using tools such as JIRA and GIT.
• Experience in automotive applications and standards, and CAN bus vehicle standard
