Senior Developer - Test Automation

In this role, we would need your expertise in order to continue to develop our quality test automation processes and support other team members in doing the same. As a member of our QA Team, your contribution will assure for the overall quality of our IT delivery. The QA Team is part of the IT Development organization and work is done in close collaboration with your colleagues in the development and platform teams.

Your Mission

To be successful in this role, you would ideally have previous test focused development experience and experience with writing and implementing automated tests. It would be amazing if you have experience with successful system integration test automation in an agile and test-driven organization, as well as have a rich background in software development. Our code is meticulously written using .net and .net core tech in C#, so it would be great if you had worked with C# before. Key Responsibilities

- Set-up and maintain regression auto batch framework
- Design and develop auto test cases for regression testing purposes
- Suggest and implement improvements to the test automation process and tools
- Contribute to the CI pipeline by developing ways to automate the business acceptance cases as well as implementing them for applications we develop in-house
- Developing the automation of business acceptance tests - for both our in-house solutions and 3rd party delivered components

Requirements:

- At least 3-5 years of experience working with software development and testing
- Proficiency with Microsoft's development stack and lifecycle tools - in particular, familiarity of .net and .net-core as well as C# and SQL
- Experience with TFS/Azure DevOps
- Previous experience working with TDD (test driven development) or similar methodologies, as well as CI and CD (cont. integration / cont. delivery)
- Familiarity with at least one modern JavaScript framework

Good to Have:

- Experience working with Octopus Deploy
- Experience with Test Case management tools
- Experience with Selenium or another front-end framework
- Previous experience working in similar roles in the finance sector, banking, or another similarly regulated sector (ie, health)
- Knowledge of modern web technologies and techniques such as HTML 5 or CSS3 is a plus
