BA Digital Services 
Packet core in Business Area Digital Services (BDGS) develop and deliver packet core solution for mobile networks. With us at BDGS you’ll be part of the next step in development of our products. We enable millions of simultaneous connected mobile users while handling traffic from IoT to 4K video in Gbit speeds. Ericsson BDGS will become the partner of choice of Telecom operators using the latest technologies in cloud and automation to manage complexity so the ambitious can differentiate with total cost of ownership solutions for programmable 4G and 5G networks, automated operations and digital engagements. 
Our PDG Solutions department develops products and solutions for the Ericsson Cloud Core – a cloud packet core for all accesses and services, with dual-mode operations, 4G and 5G. Among other things, we deliver Massive IOT, Mobile Broadband, Enterprise Core, etc. Our work is a vital part of the accelerated digital transformation in the telecom industry, as well as building our networked society where everything and everyone that can be connected will be connected. We are also developing a product that will bring Continuous Delivery & Deployment (CD&D) to all Packet Core Products.

Job description:
Developer to SWDP, a Continuous Delivery & Deployment (CD&D) solution
We develop a new and exciting way to continuously deliver and deploy cloud packet core software into customers’ networks. We are gearing up and need you in this job! We are looking for engaged and self-going developers to further accelerate the team’s development. You will join a highly skilled, cross functional development team that works according to agile principals with everything from managing and developing their environments to releasing their software. You will become very familiar with Ericsson’s Packet Core products and you will be working with the latest cloud environments like Kubernetes, OpenStack, as well as Ericsson adaptations of these.
Main tasks:
Solving a complex problem, linking the functionality of multiple Ericsson products
Designing, developing, testing and documenting the software delivered by the team

Key qualifications:
Bachelor/Master of Science in relevant area or equivalent formal education.
Experience working in Linux/UNIX environments
A good understanding of the concept Delivery/Deployment Pipeline
Development experience, with a focus on scripting, in primarily Python
Experience with data storage solutions (both as text, .yaml, .json and in databases using redis and SQL)
Working experience with automation and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, (and preferably also Docker, and K8s)
Used git for versioning in a multi person project
