Senior IT Service Manager - Digital Commerce

Consumer Application IT Services is an exciting and innovative part of the new function Consumer IT Services, reporting to Volvo Car Group CIO. The function was established to make a paradigm shift in how IT is delivering proactive End to End IT services in the scope of Connected Car and Consumers to ensure optimal consumer experience. In the function we are outlining the long term direction for Consumer IT Services and drive business development through innovative IT as well as managing new and running services through know how, development, maintenance and support. The team operates the Consumer Application IT Service in close cooperation with Marketing Platforms department within Global Marketing of the Volvo Car Group. This is a high priority area within the organisation and this is a unique opportunity to be a part of the future.

As Senior IT Service Manager for Consumer Application IT Service you will be in the forefront of a fast paced and challenging environment. You will act as a partner in the utilisation of the new Digital Commerce vision to provide IT support and services for all Volvo Car Group products and services offered to customers as part of the Volvo Car Group digital leadership journey. We are in the beginning of building a new digital ecosystem and your initiatives will contribute to a constantly evolving area. You will be a part of a proactive and professional team, always striving for speed and quality with focus on close business interaction and understanding.

Main responsibilities

* Establish and operate the future Digital Commerce set-up in close cooperation with Marketing Platforms department within Volvo Car Group
* Lead and drive activities to manage suppliers crucial for Consumer Application IT operation and ensure their fulfillment of contracts
* Establish Governance Structure, Application Maintenance, Support, Operation and Development for the Global Service - support in building new initiatives
* Manage and secure efficient communication between Global and local IT as well business
* Gather and understand the needs from stakeholders, and translate business requirements into technology solutions
* Continuously improve customer satisfaction
* Lead the operations of the application to secure global operation

Required qualifications

* University degree in relevant field
* Documented IT experience (10 +years)
* Documented knowledge of Service operations
* Good knowledge in global web presence
* Experience from working with digital agencies
* General knowledge of web as marketing channel
* Experience from working in a customer intense environment
* Fluent in English, written and spoken

* Excellent ability to build good relations to executives, colleagues and teams
