Test automation - Tester/Developer

If you have relevant experience in back-end software development, this opportunity could be the next step in your career. You will, together with the team, be responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation and maintenance of high-quality software for new and existing systems. You will also participate in the continuous improvement of the software group platforms, processes and techniques. This role will include working in an agile team. Working on new product development is an integral part of this role and your contribution will be highly valued.

This position is based at our site in Umeå, Sweden.

About the position

• Continuously drive automation of tests, validation, builds, build pipelines, etc.
• Combination of technical expertise and interest in test automation
• System, unit and integration test development mixed with CI and build system improvements
• Test framework development focused on performance
• Automatic system test framework development
• Building applications on a Cloud Native platform with Docker and Kubernetes
• Automatic deployment to multiple cloud vendors like AWS and Azure
• Working in a DevOps culture where test automation, infrastructure as code, versioned build pipelines, etc. on a daily basis
• Being part of an agile continuously improving team

About you

• You live and breathe automation and believe in test first, not test after
• You like solving problems and believe in continuous learning and continuous improvement
• You probably have an academic degree in computer science or similar
• Experience in test automation is required
• Experience in microservice architecture, cloud development, DevOps practices is beneficial
• Experience in Kafka, data streaming, Scala is desirable
• You like working in a team and value collaboratione
