Job description
UniCarriers is currently recruiting a Senior IT Administrator for a key role with great possibilities at its European headquarters in Mölnycke (Göteborg). At UniCarriers you are given the possibility of joining a driven team of technical specialists working across Europe. Though majority of your time will be spent on location in Göteborg, you will be a key-person in the European organization. This means travelling does occur, something that you are able and willing to do.

As a senior IT administrator, we expect you to be a seasoned hands-on specialist as well as a role-model who doesn’t mind rolling up your sleeves and working operatively. However, in this key role, you are also given the opportunity to develop yourself and your career. Since we expect you to grow within your role and within the organization, managerial as well as leadership ambitions and talents are required.

Reporting to the Group Infrastructure Manager, the main work tasks of this role include:
• Responsibility for the day to day 2nd/3rd line support of the infrastructure for the head office in Göteborg and with the rest of the infrastructure team across all European sites.
• Delivery of technical projects individually and as a member of the team.
• Work closely with line manager and other team members to help define and implement the group infrastructure strategy, policies and best practice.

Technical skills
The UniCarriers IT environment is a multi-domain environment. It consists of both virtual and physical servers. To be able to manage the role of a Senior IT Administrator, we expect you to have experience from a range of technologies:
• Server architecture & design
• Windows server 2003, 2008 and 2012
• Virtual server infrastructure, VMWare and Hyper-V
• Active Directory, group policy, multi domain environments (Experience of domain migration).
• Server hardware (IBM, DELL, HP)
• Storage technologies (SAN, NAS etc.)
• Networking technologies (switching, routing, wireless) preferably Cisco, good knowledge of TCP/IP, Security appliances & firewalls.
• Office365 administration
• Microsoft Azure administration
• Experienced in backup solutions/ disaster recovery
• Knowledge of SQL server administration
• Desktop support
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
• Experience with monitoring solutions.
• Knowledge of ITIL

Personal skills
• Experience of supporting multi-site organization, working in a geographically disperse team.
• Service orientated
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently but still as a member of a team.
• Experience of leading technical projects
• Willing to travel
• Fluent in Swedish and English
