Experienced System Developer with very good knowledge in software design and programming in C, C++

Transmode is expanding and we are looking for an experienced system developer to develop the application software in Transmode’s fiber optic products. You will work with innovative and smart solutions to fulfill the needs of our customers.

Our domain is embedded software and we are a fantastic team of talented, motivated and supportive software developers that enjoy working together. Your job as a software developer is to take part in the entire development process, from pre-studies to delivery. You will be part of one of our Scrum cross-functional teams designing and developing new features as well as improving existing subsystems. Together with your team you will take overall responsibility for the team’s deliveries.

You will work in a environment that requires high professionalism and extensive work experience. If you have experience as a Project Leader, Scrum Master and/or Team Leader its a big advantage.

The software is mostly developed in C with object-oriented design. For the user-interface we use a Web GUI that is implemented with javascript, HTML and uses a REST API written in C. We use Linux as OS both in our products and in our development environment.

 Required skills & experience:

Master of Science or similar technical education
At least 5 years of experience with software development
