UX Designer

We are looking for a UX Designer to join our team on our ambitious and exciting journey to digitize and shape the future of financing global trade.

The role, based in Stockholm, reports to the Chief Product Officer and requires collaboration with teams throughout the organization. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for delivering the best user experience and user interface. You will ensure that all elements of the user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness and exceptional visual design, which makes your role extremely important given that user satisfaction and loyalty are two important contributors to achieving our growth targets. You will be designing ideas using various methods and latest technology, as well as designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, forms, and widgets.

To be successful in this role you must first and foremost have a passion for designing products that users love to use and that ease users’ daily work life. You are an enthusiastic team player that is curious, flexible and open minded. You can rapidly understand complex business concepts and workflows and have the ability to turn them into attractive and easy to use functionality. You do not need to be right (all the time) and you always focus on finding the optimal solution to sometimes conflicting needs.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and client representatives to understand business goals and objectives
• Plan and implement new designs
• Optimize existing user interface designs
• Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centred solutions
• Combine creativity with awareness of design elements
• Create wireframes and prototypes for new product ideas
• Conduct ongoing user research

Skills and experience

• 3-5 years’ experience as a UX designer or similar role
• Extensive UX design portfolio
• Bachelor’s degree in UX design, Interaction design, Computer Science and/or other relevant field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to discuss and articulate design options
• Detail oriented
• Critical thinker
• Problem solver and customer-centred
• Experience with various UX design tools

Meriting experience

• Designing B2B software applications
• Worked in the Financial Services industry
