About the job

As a Filter Designer you will develop micro-/millimeter wave filters for 5G telecom applications. You will work together with very skilled microwave designers and often in co-operation with other teams in the product development unit, Ericsson Research, sourcing and supply.

Your main focus will be on micro-/millimeter wave filter design in close collaboration with our selected filter component suppliers.


Responsibilities and Opportunities

  • Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling
  • Develop and Test High Quality Products
  • Perform Trouble Shooting and Production Support
  • Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes
  • Collaborate with Suppliers Designing Filter Products
  • Driver of Sourcing, Supply and Design Team Activities
  • Handle supplier relations

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements

  • High frequency electromagnetic modelling and simulation (3D)
  • Microwave filter design (5-150 GHz)
  • Microwave instrument knowledge, measurement technique and test system development
  • Design tools such as Keysight ADS, Momentum, HFSS, µWave Wizard, MATLAB
