Codan/Trygg-Hansa is now looking for an experienced Middleware Engineer to the Cloud Service team. Our office is in a historic building in central Malmö, close to the train station.

What we do

Cloud services are building a new cloud platform to become the landing zone for our internal infrastructure capabilities. We are supporting the organization in our cloud journey by developing new consumable services that has built in automatization with a lot of focus on enabling our users with self-service functionality. We make sure that we are compliant with everything that we produce.

What you will do

In this role you will be responsible for the Middleware throughout its lifecycle by:

- Deliver subject matter expert knowledge on middleware technologies
- Design, install and maintain middleware environments.
- Development of Cloud services aligned to the middleware environment.
- Continuous optimization of the Service blueprints
- Drive development of the environment from Enterprise selected software towards the Open Source options.

Some traveling may occur in this role.

Your skills and knowledge

To be successful in this role we believe that you have experience from system administration, Middleware and large scale IT (infrastructure and software engineering). You have also worked with virtualization and cloud concepts, processes and standards such as virtual datacenters and dynamic scheduling and can Contribute technical expertise to content creation and new initiatives. We also believe that you have strong insight into Cloud paradigm and DevOps (agile)

Further we want you to be familiar with:

- Script languages - JS, bash, perl etc.
- Automation/orchestration - Ansible, puppet chef etc.
- Cloud technologies- Azure, AWS, vCloud Director, Google Cloud, OpenStack
- Infrastructure technologies - Compute, Network and Storage
- And of course a background within middleware technologies
