POSITION PURPOSE

IQVIA is looking for a junior database developer who will be responsible for the back-end development and management of IQVIAs Nordic production platform. In co-operation with the team you will support and drive projects in the Nordics by implementing positive change to the many business initiatives.

We are looking for someone who will think creatively to generate new solutions and make improvements to current processes that deliver value to our customers. Someone who is challenged by investigations and analyzing complex business problems and can make recommendations on data and production systems.

You will be the source of knowledge for what data is held where, how data is structured and how data is moved between systems.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To write and optimize code to develop or resolve business requirements
• Support strategic projects around data re-platforming and development work to support business initiatives
• Develop a specialization into relevant Nordics data sources
• Manage internal project communications to various levels of stakeholders where relevant
• Execute complex pieces of analysis to answer business questions
• Implement technical enhancements based on business user story requirements from Jira, creating test plans and executing UAT
• Contribute to team effort through communication, cooperation and coordination across IQVIA

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

· Minimum of one-year experience in developer role

· Technical degree in Computer Science or related field.

· Experience in relational databases for data warehouse (Kimball).

· Experience of SSIS development work using Visual Studio.

· Experience of T-SQL for complex queries against a SQL Server database.

· Excellent analytic skills and the ability to transform concept to a working solution.

· Strong data knowledge and analytical skills

· Customer-oriented personality with positive drive and a pragmatic, structured approach

· Pharmaceutical industry knowledge desired but not essential

· Experience of Microsoft Analysis Services (SSAS) preferred

· Programming language experience such as .NET, VB, C#, ASP.NET

· Proficiency in Swedish/English.
