System Engineer to TriOptima

TriOptima is by far the most trusted service provider within large scale financial credit risk management with one global purpose – designing effective and easy-to-implement solutions for the OTC derivatives market. By often being ahead of the market, TriOptima believes they can educate the market in the value of its offerings. To be able to continue delivering this level of quality they are now looking for their next key member and System Engineer to team Application Infrastructure.

TriOptima is a world-leading financial services provider that helps banks and institutions manage their OTC derivative contracts. Their products have, in total, freed up significant amounts of capital in the financial market and contributed to the reduction of both individual bank’s risks and systemic risk in the market. The company was founded in 2000 and its customers comprise thousands of the largest banks and financial institutions in the world. They handle sums that are twice the size of Sweden's GDP and have a fantastic financial track record.

Systems Engineer in team Application Infrastructure

As TriOptima expand their services and client base, they are looking for a Linux and Kubernetes System Engineer to the Application Infrastructure Team. In this role your will develop, maintain and support the technical components that make up TriOptima's IT internal and external IT infrastructure to further support the development teams in running the services. The Application Infrastructure team work closely with Core- & Network-Infrastructure teams on critical issues by evaluating the problem, proposing and implementing resolutions, and partnering with other parts of technology as needed for the resolution.

Some of the day-to-day tasks the team faces revolve around (but is not limited to) maintaining, developing, and deploying in-house and 3rd party applications with a keen focus on automation. The team act in a proactive way to maintain the performance and availability of the services and applications. Further, the team collaborates closely with Information Security teams to provide secure solutions.

Who we think you are

TriOptima employees should be open to using and learning a diverse set of tools that can change with the task. The team is currently working with Infrastructure as code where Kubernetes, CentOS, Container Linux, Puppet, Ansible, and Python are examples of tools used on a day-to-day basis. Knowledge in these are beneficial to the role, but not mandatory in order to succeed.

To feel comfortable in this role you probably have some years of experience in DevOps/System Operation & Administration or similar. You keep a pragmatic take on the responsibility of the role where you can cooperate with others both within the team and with developers.
