What we do at Detectify

Hackers are our allies - that probably isn’t something you would hear everyday but at Detectify, this is our approach to Internet security. Built on knowledge crowdsourced from our network of over 200 ethical hackers, Detectify offers a web application security scanner that automates hacker attacks, and finds vulnerabilities, to help businesses stay safe.

Our founders and Detectify Crowdsource hackers are among the best ethical hackers in the world - having hacked tech giants such as Google, Facebook, or Dropbox - and aim to share their findings with the rest of the world in order to make the Internet a safer place.

In November 2019, Detectify secured 21 million EUR in a Series B round to continue building teams with world-class talent. We are looking for passionate and driven colleagues to hop onboard, contribute to the company culture and to make the Internet more secure.

The marketing team

Our Marketing department today consists of a cross-functional team specialised in content, web optimisation, performance marketing, BI, events, and graphic design. Now, we are looking at expanding the team to become 15 people in the upcoming months.

Role and responsibilities

As a member of Detectify, you will be part of a fast growing team developing a website to support overall marketing objectives. You will work closely with designers and editors in the team to develop the ultimate website experience for our visitors. Problem solving and creativity are your superpowers! Together with the team, you will be responsible for making decisions regarding new technologies being used.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Worked as a web developer for 2+ years either self educated or academic experience.
• Proven skills and expert in HTML, CSS/SCSS
• Experience with Statamic, WordPress or another web CMS
• Experience in Javascript and have light knowledge within PHP
• Experience in Integration of APIs
• Experience in basic SEO and page speed optimisation
• Knowledge of git best practices such as gitflow
• Understanding of Agile principles
• Understanding of Adobe Suite or similar softwares and able to transform high fidelity mockups in to code

You consider user behaviour an important part of your delivery, and you work toward simplicity and ease of use in your solutions.

You are a curious person and a team player who enjoys working in cross-functional teams and you are willing to learn new things.
