Perido is recruiting a General Programmer to Star Stable Entertainment AB, a gaming company that operates the multiplayer game Star Stable Online - the biggest online horse adventure game in the world. Since its launch in 2012, the game has grown to beyond 4 million registered users in over 180 countries. The position is placed at their office in central Stockholm.

Description
Our client is seeking a new colleague who is proactive, positive, curious and committed. As a General Game Programmer you will work with the designers to design and implement gameplay elements of scripted and emergent nature. You will develop and maintain the tools and systems necessary for designers to create quests, build complex gameplay mechanics and tweak and balance the game.

Requirements
-BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
-Extensive knowledge of C/C++
-Strong math skills
-Familiarity with AI, physics, animation and gameplay code in general
-Self-driven with a strong sense of quality
-Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
-A keen sense of fun gameplay

Contract type
