Product Designer

Transfer Galaxy is a fast-growing fintech startup helping people in Europe send money to support their loved ones in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. We’re looking for a Product Designer to work on our iOS, Android, and web platforms. Want to join a small but fast-growing team and help take our product and the way we work to the next level? You’ll develop new features, continuously improve what we already have, and help build our design system and brand identity, all in close collaboration with your teammates.

Day-to-day work

- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, business, marketing, and legal teams to explore problem spaces and find valuable and practical design solutions.
- Rapidly create experiments to test ideas and concepts, knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes.
- Use qualitative and quantitative research to find the right problems, and to inform your design decisions.
- Measure the outcome of your solutions and communicate your learnings with your team.
- Help refine our processes and structures to continuously improve the way we work together.

What we’re looking for

- 3-5 years of experience designing products at a consumer-facing product company with a significant focus on mobile experiences.
- Excellence in crafting beautiful visual design. Some experience in creating delightful animations.
- A deep understanding of design principles, processes, and methodologies.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with a low-ego in a highly collaborative and cross-functional team.
- Excited about working in a multicultural, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
- Strong user-centred approach and a commitment to helping our customers succeed within our product.
- You use Figma, Sketch, or similar tools. You organise and optimise your design specs for communicating the right things to your teammates and the engineering team.
