Frostbite: software engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Frostbite team!

Frostbite is a technology and collaboration platform for diverse game franchises, such as FIFA, Battlefield, Star Wars Battlefront, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Need for Speed and Plant vs. Zombies Garden Warfare. Thousands of game developers all over the world are using Frostbite to create some of the best-looking games in the industry!

You will be part of our talented network team, driving our technology forward that will power future Frostbite titles. In the team, we collaborate closely on a day-to-day basis. We learn from each other and work together to make sure game teams around the world can create amazing multiplayer experiences for our players.

Responsibilities

· Together with the team, develop and maintain our low-level solutions and new networking features

· Undertake performance profiling and optimization work

· Work with game teams around the world to understand their specific needs

Qualifications

· Strong C++, data-driven design, and software architecture skills

· Profiling and optimization skills

· Good collaboration and communication skills

· Eager to know more and thrives in a learning culture

Bonus Qualifications

· Network or Online experience

· Game runtime experience

· Console development experience

· Experience with agile development practices
