Deployment Specialist, Nordics

The Job

At Soundtrack Your Brand we’re a small and tight team, and the company is built on the basic principles of being a lean and efficient start-up powered by the benefits of a market leading technology and brand.

As a deployment specialist, you’ll be the person making sure that our Nordic customers gets up and running as quickly as possible – while keeping them happy along the way. You’ll be one of the first one on-board and will play an integral part in building the business. Being a startup, you will also find yourself doing a range of different tasks across the company, so being hands-on and pragmatic is a must.

Essential duties
• Supporting our customers to get up and running with our services (includes on-site visits)
• 2nd line support for Customer Services, working as a bridge to the Development team
• Error and incident management, including monitoring of live customers
• Building and improving our processes with scalability in focus
• Support in updating our help-guides on the website
• Supporting in releasing software updates to our customers
• Make it possible for our partners to deliver a top-notch customer experience
• Pre-sales support (e.g. technical advice regarding setup)
• …and a lot of other stuff that comes with working at a startup

• …know your way around a network
TCP/IP, submasks, firewalls, hubs, switches, routers, ports, pings, traceroutes – you know ‘em all. Troubleshooting, and setting up, a network is a no-brainer for you
• …are the go tech go-to person for friends and family
Someone’s iPad doesn’t work, the video stream is lagging or the Android media player doesn’t work as intended – you’re the one they call
• …are independent and used to planning your own time
The goal is to get our customers happy and live, the path going there might not always be pre-defined – so sometimes you need to define it yourself
• …don’t freak out in situations of stress
We work in a fast paced environment and you need to feel confident to do so as well

You might note that we do not list a required earlier experience. As long as you feel confident with the bullet points listed above, it doesn’t matter if you work in a restaurant, at a sales office or in an internal IT-help desk. Your personality and skill is what matters.
