You will be part of an international agile SW development team that develops an automation test system used for Ericsson Radio Verification. Together with the rest of the teams in Product Development Unit (PDU) Radio Integration and Verification, you contribute to us safeguarding the high level of quality in all types of Ericsson's Radio products delivered worldwide. The organization is operational in multiple sites in Kista, Ottawa, Beijing and Cheng du.

As a developer you will

Be one of the key contributors helping us build the JAVA based new NGTE (Next Generation Test Environment). This will include building up the architecture, test cases implementation, instrument drivers, test management etc. The system will enable all automation test of all relevant Radio verification areas (eg. RPV, EMC, environmental etc.) in line with standardized or internal specifications. As a developer you will analyze requirements, design/validate via programming, support and resolve user issues, also drive continuous improvement. The work is based in Kista but you will have the opportunity to work in other sites for a period of time.

To be successful in the role you must have the following

• M. Sc in Computer Science, Telecommunication, EE or similar
• A minimum of 2 years object-oriented SW Development experience and excellent JAVA programming skills
• A genuine interest in SW development and are willing to devote to this area
• Self-motivation, excellent on problem solving and high performance mentality
• A team spirit attitude and a willingness contribute. Willing to share knowledge, like to help others and drive improvements
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English
• Agile development knowledge is a plus
• Natural interest to tackle technical challenges

Merited Skills

• Experience in Radio Access Technology and standard (3GPP) knowledge
• Good knowledge of 4G,5G, OTA testing
• Experience in JCAT / MJE
• Curiosity, creativity and an innovation mindset paired with the ability to see the big picture
• Background on working with RF and measurement instruments (a plus)
