Product Manager

There are nearly 1.3 billion young people (aged 15-24) in the world. 1 billion of them want an extra job. Until now, no other company has made this problem their own.

Our app, Yepstr is now Sweden's largest platform for simple and safe teenage-jobs like babysitting, tutoring and dog-minding. We now need your help as our future Product Manager to put the last pieces into place before we shift focus from Sweden to the World.

Yepstr is now looking for a Product Manager to lead our Product team and coordinate our Product Designer, UX Researcher and our team of Developers!

You will join Yepstr at a super exciting growth-phase, early enough to really make your mark. Through your work you will help young people to get their first job and at the same time make the everyday life better for families.

As our Product Manager you will be a leader in Yepstr from day one. You main responsibility will be to guide the team right, by ensuring we have a crystal clear product vision and using your understanding of our business to ensure we prioritize research and design efforts in the areas that are most likely to generate results.

To accomplish this we expect that you will push the team to continuously bathe ourselves in user input. It really boils down to three things: obsess about understanding our users, our business drivers and combining that with an assessment of what is actually possible to build.

Responsibilities

• Crystallizing the Product Vision together with CEO
• Prioritizing the product roadmap and guiding research and design efforts to the areas with most impact
• Evaluating the effects of implemented features and sharing with the team

We are looking for someone who ...

• Has previous leadership experience - to lead our Product Team
• Has previous experience from a similar role (Product Manager / Head of Product / CPO) - to understand our users
• Has a background in business and / or data analysis - to understand underlying business drivers
• Has a basic understanding of programming (even just a single course!) - to understand what is possible to build
• Likes people and likes having fun along the way!

Big plus if you have any of these...

• Previous consumer app experience
• Previous startup experience
