Software Engineer – M3 (CLM/MFS Team)

Position Summary

Infor is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Infor M3 development organization, in the MFS (Mobility for Field Service) and CLM (Customer Lifecycle Manager) team in Linkoping, Sweden. The mobile applications MFS and CLM, allows end-customers to perform several business-processes using mobile devices. Both products are integrated towards the ERP system M3 as well as other Infor products. The priority for the team is to deliver new features on a regular basis, and to do this consistently, sustainably, and to high levels of quality and usability. We follow an Agile process, incrementally improving and frequently releasing our software.

Key Responsibilities

·Maintain and improve the existing code of our component.

·Add new code for new features and use cases.

·Troubleshoot and fix defects found in test or production environments.

·Develop proof of concepts and evaluate them.

·Improve the quality of the products by adding more test cases in different level (unit test, integration test and system test).

Key Requirements/Experience

·Bachelor’s degree or higher education in Computer Science or related areas.

·3+ years of experience in professional software development.

· Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (ES6, ES7).

·Experience with at least one of the JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React.

·Experience with npm, Webpack, Git, SVN.

·Familiar with Agile and Scrum/Kanban methodologies and practices.

·Knowledge in software development processes, models, lifecycles and methodologies.

·Knowledge of Linux operating systems.

·Have passion for writing clean code and strive for learning new things.

·Willing to work in a team and being a team player and share knowledge with others but also be able to perform tasks individually.

·Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

·Designing, developing, testing and deploying software in cloud (AWS and/or other cloud providers).

·Knowledge/experience with Apache Cordova, Jenkins, Jira.

·Mobile application development.
