What you’ll do

Volvo Cars is looking for talented, highly motivated individuals with strong data analysis skills and strategic thinking to join the web and online sales team working with key digital products, including volvocars.com and Care by Volvo. In the role of a Digital Insights Analyst, you will be part of a larger analytics team as well as a digital product team. You will play a key role in transforming data about user engagement into business insights and actionable recommendations to improve the performance and the value of our digital experience. In collaboration with the wider analytics team you will set the framework for how to operate with analytics in our digital channels and have full ownership on how this is managed within your product stream on a daily basis. 

In this role you will perform quantitative analysis, design and evaluate A/B tests and provide the product team recommendations with the aim to optimize conversion rate, customer engagement and overall product performance. This includes determining data requirements, extracting and manipulating the data, helping set up tracking, conducting analyses, and developing a coherent story with clear, easy-to-follow conclusions.

You and your skills

To be successful in this role, you are detail-oriented and have a passion for solving complex problems, are curious and driven to learn and grow outside of normal duties and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

•    Deep experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics and past usage of data visualization tools like Tableau
•    Preferred if you have experience with tag management, analytics structure, taxonomy and implementation. Added bonus if you have experience in working with Google Tag Manager
•    Familiarity with statistical programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python) is also necessary
•    Bonus if you have previous experience in a digital analytics role (web and/or app).
•    Beneficial If you have had experience in e-commerce and/or automotive industry and agile development teams

You also have strong communication- and presentation skills, both oral and written. You are are self-motivated, with the ability to work with independently.  You have an ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of engineers, product managers, program managers, subject matter experts and other cross-functional team members within a large matrixed organization.
