Who we are

The data analytics team is a part of iZettle’s data science area and our mission is to help iZettle make better decisions based on data. We are divided into three sub-teams: product analytics, business analytics and central analytics. We own end-to-end analytics in an area, from tracking and defining KPIs to setting targets and running A/B tests to evaluate performance of new initiatives. We work close with the business and partnering up with department leads to drive data-driven decision-making. We also empower other iZettlers to use data in their work by training them, making data accessible through our BI tools and articulating and communicating actionable insights based on data.

We are currently 22 data scientists/analysts, with 9 different nationalities, and we are growing. This role is to manage the product analytics sub-team, which currently consists of 10 data scientists/analysts.

What You'll Do

As Product Analytics Manager you will be responsible to provide strategic direction and goals for the Product Analytics Area and be the bridge between the different Analytics and Data areas (Product, Business and Central, ML, Data Platform). You will be responsible for attracting, recruiting and retaining high performing data scientists and data analysts. You will coach them to have the highest possible impact on iZettle’s data-driven decision making. Collaborate with the teams stakeholders – mainly Product Managers – to align on the ways of working and focus of the analysts. As manager you will furthermore make sure the team and individuals reach their goals by coaching the analysts in their daily work, inspire them to reach higher and support their challenges.

You have a background as a data scientist / analyst. You are passionate about growing others and have an interest in people and leadership. You are able to meet each individual where they are in their growth curve and adjust your expectations and goal setting depending on if they are just out of school or a senior analyst … but if you haven’t had formal people responsibilities before, that’s fine. We can help you grow into the role.


  • SQL
  • Python and/or R
  • Math & Statistics
  • Have been involved with some experimentation, machine learning, modelling
  • Understanding of product development
  • Data warehousing (preferably GCP)
