In collaboration with Microsoft, Sandvik Coromant are creating our very own Cloud Competence Center – a team designed to evolve from a traditional IT model to an agile organization model where business and IT collaborate in teams to develop new services. This means adapting an integrated approach to digitizing the data, expertise and experience used daily to guide our customers. What’s the job all about?

Well, it’s about developing and establishing a core competence within Sandvik Coromant IT structure while collaborating with Microsoft. You do this in a few simple steps where you start out working side by side with Microsoft Consulting Services. During the first two steps you learn enough to be able to work alone with further support and eventually work completely independently. In other words, we don’t expect you to be an expert when joining us. All we ask for is that you have the capabilities, drive, passion and technical interest – skills that in time will help you develop into an expert and thereby also our go-to person in our Cloud Competence Center.

The location for this position is preferably Sandviken, however, Stockholm is also an option with the understanding that some time need to be spent in Sandviken.

What we work with and are looking for

• Experience with scrum/agile, planning and prioritizing and DevOps methodologies
• Experience with coding Azure functions, Logic Apps and Web Apps in Azure
• Azure DevOps pipelines, Git
• ARM Templates, PowerShell, .NET
• Design and build automated features as Preconfigured Azure Feature in Azure DevOps
• CI/CD processes, secure coding
• Automated testing
• Azure Application Development, Cloud services and cloud topology and patterns
• Ideally an AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals) certification
