2D game artist girl game division

We are looking to grow VascoGames BV, that's why we need the best and brightest of the industry to join our team. We are growing fast and need your help to build out our girl game division. This division within VascoGames is focused to build the world's best free to play girl games for mobile and tablets.

Do you see yourself being this enthusiastic, dedicated and talented 2D artist to complete our growing team? Then show us you are serious about applying, as one of the 2D artist of the girl game division you can oversee all the aspects of art development and production for the multiple titles. You got to work closely with the other members of the team to bring in all ideas and concepts in a final product. You will be responsible for the art style in the games, therefore a good understanding of color themes and having a cohesive style is needed. This to deliver the high quality standards we are aiming for.

In your role of 2D artist you will be busy with various aspects of game development like: creating high quality 2D game models, making different GUI for different games. Our ideal candidate has experience creating 2D concepts and illustrations using Photoshop or an equivalent 2D paint program.

Required Skills for this function:
. Minimum 1 year experience in the Game Industry is a plus, a great portfolio also count.
. Proficiency using Adobe Photoshop or equivalent 2D paint program
. Very strong sense of shapes, forms, structure and silhouette in regards to illustrations and game design
. You need to have a passion for games
. Outstanding graphic design skills and strong painting background
. Have a great team player attitude, have strong good communications skills and self-motivation
. Able to work under deadlines that we set with the team

Extra pluses
. If you made or worked on a mobile game / games you can show this as well.
. Working knowledge of Unity 3D
