App Developer - android experience a must

Dometic is looking for is a passionate React Native developer eager to take part in all dimensions of building our new platform for our smartphone applications. Our team is small, which means that you will able to both influence and contribute to a world class solution as the part of the team that owns the application platform.

As part of the Connectivity team, you will be involved in the entire product lifecycle – from idea through to a finished product including platform architecture, product definition, design, implementation and deployment. You will work in close cooperation with our design team, firmware and backend developers, and our global development organisation. You will also mentor external developers that we bring in when needed.

Main Responsibilities

• Development of React Native applications for iOS and android
• Tight communication with our development team in Chennai, India
• Communicating with local and global stakeholders to refine understanding of requirements
• Working together with Lead Application Architect to continuously improve and evolve app platform
• Quickly create proof of concept designs to explore new opportunities

Who are we looking for

Qualifications and Experience

We believe that the ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experiences:

• Documented experience from React Native development
• Experience with native App development on android and/or iOS
• Experience from working in Scrum teams with CI/CD process
• Web front end experience (HTML5/SCSS/JavaScript/Typescript/ReactJs)
• Full stack development, REST API’s and AWS microservices is an extra plus
